Case Study – SBS launch The Cook Up (Adam Liaw)

The Brief

SBS Australia invited medias and influencers to celebrate the launch of the Cook Up TV program. The Cook Up is the biggest commission in the SBS network’s history and will comprise of 200 episodes. 

SBS Australia hired VIVE Cooking School venue to conduct their event. 

The goal was to create an entertaining and engaging cooking experience for the guests with the Host Adam Liaw himself in the VIVE kitchen. 

The Execution

Our team was contracted to provide the venue, and expertise around the best way to host our client’s event. 

We coordinate with the SBS’s team members, their contractors and the talent Adam Liaw to ensure outstanding delivery. 

The client also contracted us to source the ingredients and organise the ingredients for each cooking stations including the Chef.  

Our operation team was also assisting both the Chef and the Guests during the cooking session.

The Outcome

All the guests enjoyed the cooking class with Adam Liaw, learning about the show and some delicious recipes from the show. 

The session was a balance between cooking, mingling, and laughter.

The client was pleased by the support from the VIVE’s team, and SBS re-engaged VIVE for an additional 6 events with Silvia Colloca.

You are welcome to bring your own talent, or you can also use our VIVE Chef.

For an experience where your guests are required to cook, we recommend up 20 to 24 people maximum. If the guests are not required to cook, we recommend a maximum of 30 guests.
Yes, all the premium appliances and kitchen ware are included in the venue hire.
Yes, but design need to be submitted for final approval.
Yes, we have a 40’ inch TV at the front for power point presentation.
